A Bit About April

We got to babysit these cute twins right at the beginning of April. If that's not a sign that it's going to be a spectacular month. I don't know what is ;)

Yeah, they're best buds. The twins are 2 months older than James. Yes, I know James is huge :)

He wasn't a fan right at first, but then after a couple weeks he did a complete 180` and now he can't get enough of them.

We actually got the girls to sit and watch for a half hour this year. One point for the parents! ;)

Cameron and Aubrie's Wedding
My littlest sis got married!! And to a great guy to boot ;)

While we were down for the wedding Robert's parents threw Lydia a little early birthday celebration. As always, Lydia loved the attention. :)

3/1/2014 - Slept in this morning, got a bunch of cleaning and laundry done, helped out a friend, and now my whole family is snuggling on the couch watching the Gilbert Temple Cultural Celebration. It's been a GREAT day #saturdayisaspecialday

3/5/2014 - When on the floor, James has shown no interest in rolling over. So how is it that every time we forget to buckle him into his bouncer he's like this within 5 minutes? #ilovemykids

3/9/2014 - Each of the girls picked 2 packs of big girl panties yesterday and tomorrow we are throwing out the diapers and not turning back. Cold turkey potty training times 2! Wish us luck!

3/13/2014 - St. Patrick's Day fun at Joy School today. We had a blast. And proud momma moment - look at Lydia's rainbow hat. She colored it all by herself. The colors are mostly inside the lines and they are in the correct order with no help from me  #ilovemykids

3/17/2014 - They were dancing around too much to get a clear picture. Frozen just showed up on our doorstep from Grandma Richardson. They're pretty excited about it  :)

3/17/2014 - We're beginning to make essential oils a part of our daily living. My mom used essential oils while I was growing up so I'm not a complete newbie. Robert, on the other hand, saw this and said, "Isn't that what people normally smoke pot out of?" #essentialoillife

3/27/2014 - Our dear friend @hewittfam gave us a blackout shade to replace the broken blinds and the girls are still asleep AN HOUR AND A HALF past when they normally wake up. This just might be the best thing to ever happen to us! #generouspeoplerock

February Sum-Up

And POOF... Another over 3 months has gone by since I've updated the blog. Crazy!

When I last left you we were in the midst of Love Week. (Valentine's Day to our anniversary)

On Valentine's Day we went out to breakfast as a family to, our favorite, Santa Cruz Diner.

Robert got me this cute arrangement of roses.

I beat Robert in a weight loss challenge and my reward was us going to get pedicures together. Watching Robert squirm awkwardly the whole time was PRICELESS! ;)

 This year it was my year to plan what we did for our anniversary. I had great plans of spending overnight in a bed and breakfast then paddle boarding all day etc etc. But then kids got sick and life got too busy. A week after our anniversary we finally were able to go out to dinner. We went to the Crow's Nest and had a great time.
